lyrics
Effortlessly the defiance in me burns a nation, of cowards
Necessity is the mother of all but invention, the denial
In the centre of me lies a cold dead end street
Best quit while you’re ahead or find rest when you’re dead
Effortlessly the defiance in me burns a nation, of desire
Oh for the moment, stoke the fire
Down in the dirt, where the best hope for the worst
Hail the disaster
Catastrophe aint got nothing on me
Hail the disaster
One small thought with nothing in my way, naivety is the perfect role play
I’ll come to get you, force and forget you
Agony that familiar ring, on your back as I spread those wings
I can’t forget you, why would I want to
Torches burn the mists of time
Desolation with no reason nor rhyme
Execution would be a blessing, so close within reach to find relief from this burden
Hate me, spoil the lesson of the unleashed truth that was buried inside
Hate me, my only possession test the will of men stand the test of time
I’ll come to get you, fuck and forget you
Agony that familiar ring, on your back as I spread those wings
I can’t forget you, why would I want to
Torches burns the mists of time
Desolation with no reason nor rhyme
Execution would be a blessing, so close within reach to find relief from this burden
One more time, to be declined this love of mine
Stale state of sweet divinity, the milk of all humanity
Last time to be divine, this curse of mine
Spare the rod and spoil the child some things are best left for the wild
Hey can you believe this, still not my time
Hedged bets on insecurity, rest assured I’ve done the crime
Hey can you believe this, still towing the line
Forced smiles and insincerity, all you cherished was meant to die
Hail the disaster

Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae

I'm a big fan of The Faceless middle two albums and when I saw Lyle Cooper was on this album I knew I needed to check it out. I bought the discography almost instantly, reminds me a little of The Faceless and a bit more of Fallujah who I also adore. Well worth the money, Support these great Musicians! dragonslayer8228
